GlobalFluency, Inc. is seeking a talented digital marketing and creative professional to manage a tight-knit team in its New York office, and play a vital leadership role in executing interactive marketing and branding campaigns. Candidate must by web savvy and well versed in all aspects of interactive marketing, web development, social media and web 2.0 functionalities, and creative development. The ideal candidate will have experience in branding and visual identity systems, development of digital marketing strategies, as well as populating rich informational web portals with relevant, timely and insightful content. The candidate will also have experience working on marketing programs including direct marketing campaigns, interactive and social media campaigns, and audience development programs. This is a job for someone who likes to wear a multitude of hats and can juggle with the best, and is looking to flex creative muscle while mastering the digital and online space.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
• Must be proactive and be able to manage multiple projects smoothly and efficiently.
• Must be able to prioritize and foresee problems before they become problems and be able to spearhead solutions.
• Must possess leadership qualities and manage a team of designers and developers.
• Must have experience writing client proposals and contracts.
• Must understand how to build and develop social media and community channels
• A bachelor’s degree is a must.
• A web and creative portfolio of work that knocks our socks off
• Person must be technical and have a strong knowledge of back-end development as it pertains to website development.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience using the Adobe Creative suite.
• Understanding and basic knowledge of programming languages. Candidate should have knowledge of HTML and the ability to track multiple web properties and update sites on a regular, ongoing basis.
• Working knowledge of PHP, ASP, Forms and Databases a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM and SMO are a plus.
